SPONSORS

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of the City of Albany which has provided foundational funding to bring Sculpture at Binalup to life. This support reflects a shared commitment to celebrating art, culture, and community as part of Albany’s significant bicentenary milestone.

Sculpture at Binalup is delivered by an experienced team of arts facilitators and event producers working with Menang Leaders and cultural practitioners. We are dedicated to creating a world-class outdoor sculpture exhibition that honours the rich history and spirit of this place and its people.

Our team brings a deep understanding of public art, community engagement, cultural sensitivity, and large-scale event delivery, ensuring a professional and impactful experience for diverse artists, audiences, and partners alike.

As part of Albany 2026, this event will anchor a strong visual presence for expression and truth-telling through the arts. We are seeking additional support for prizes, education program, essential exhibition costs and in-kind materials support for artists and offer a range of benefits for sponsors.

Capral Aluminium is supporting Sculpture at Binalup by offering in-kind materials and potential processing support for selected artists working with aluminium. This generous sponsorship will make it possible for artists designing and creating work for this medium to realise more ambitious sculptures. Aluminium's attributes make it a versatile sculpting material. It's lightweight, strong, malleable, and easily worked. Its corrosion resistance, high reflectivity, and ability to be polished to a shine, along with its recyclability, further enhance its appeal for artists.

We acknowledge the Menang Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn, create, and share stories. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, recognising their enduring knowledge, artistry, and cultural strength.

First Nations peoples are the first artists, storytellers, and educators, passing down knowledge through song, dance, carving, weaving, and painting for tens of thousands of years. Aboriginal people carry this rich cultural heritage, bringing with them deep connections to Country, community, and language. We honour and value the traditions of teaching and learning that have been shared through generations, and we are committed to fostering a space where these cultures and strengths are recognised and celebrated.

We are seeking local businesses to partner with us.
