The exhibition acknowledges the Menang Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of Kinjarling | Albany. We are working closely with Menang Noongar leaders to anchor a strong visual presence for the bicentenary of this place through artistic expression and truth-telling. Sculpture at Binalup has selected artists engaging with the themes of Past, Present and Future through contemporary sculpture and installation.

As part of the Albany 2026 Bicentenary program, Sculpture at Binalup invites artists to contribute to dialogue and storytelling about the history, culture, and aspirations of this place. Learn more about the diverse Albany 2026 program at www.albany2026.com.au

We acknowledge the Menang Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn, create, and share stories. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, recognising their enduring knowledge, artistry, and cultural strength.

First Nations peoples are the first artists, storytellers, and educators, passing down knowledge through song, dance, carving, weaving, and painting for tens of thousands of years. Aboriginal people carry this rich cultural heritage, bringing with them deep connections to Country, community, and language. We honour and value the traditions of teaching and learning that have been shared through generations, and we are committed to fostering a space where these cultures and strengths are recognised and celebrated.

We are seeking local businesses to partner with us.
